www.housemajority.org is the website I designed and coded in 2003 with the start of the 23rd Alaska State Legislature, for the Alaska House Majority Caucus, and have maintained and developed the site since it’s creation. The site contains bill tracking & revisions, search features, news items, polls & surveys, archives and Representative bios & committees. This site also utilizes some aspect of almost every web design element available including HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, Ajax, Java, CGI, CMS, SEO, PDF, Flash. The file size for the whole site is over 3GB.

One of my first photo “enhancements” in 2000 using some 3D elements, 6 different photos, including the bear taken while in Denali, with some lighting and brush effects in Photoshop 4.6 (before the History panel).

There was a time when pen & paper were used to do illustration by hand. Here are a few pages from my senior college report on illustration techniques using perspective, shadows & reflection.

Chris Cornell portrait. One of the greatest voices in Rock & Roll. This was drawn during the late Soundgarden years when he still rocked.

“Out To Lunch” - The college newspaper comic strip I drew with my roommate Noah Walden, who wrote the strips, circa 1990-1996. Shown are 6 of nearly 50 strips that were published at Western Washington University, including the “final strip”.

“Bladeships” - A 4’x3’ Sci-Fi illustration I did in the mid-90s which is now framed and hangs in my son’s room.

At one point I studied Architectural Design. I am not an architect, but the couple concept design classes I took were fun. This was the only illustration I could find from those classes.
